American Horror Story

=====================================================

Introduction

American Horror Story (AHS) is an American television horror anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The first season of the show premiered on October 5, 2011, and has since become a cultural phenomenon, running for ten seasons with over 90 episodes.

History

The idea for AHS was born out of a meeting between Murphy and Falchuk in 2008 at FX’s programming division. They were inspired by their favorite horror movies and TV shows, as well as the concept of “reality TV” that was gaining popularity at the time. The first season of AHS premiered on FX, with six standalone episodes that explored different themes.
