America’s Promise Initiative
==============================
Overview
The America’s Promise Initiative is a National Campaign launched by the Non-profit Organization, Every Child Matters (ECM), with the goal of improving the Health and well-being of children in the United States. The initiative was established in 2008 and has since become one of the largest and most influential child Advocacy organizations in the country.
History
The America’s Promise Initiative was founded by ECM in response to growing concerns about the Health and well-being of children in America. ECM recognized that many children were facing significant challenges, including Poverty, lack of access to healthcare, and exposure to Violence and Trauma. The Organization sought to bring together a coalition of stakeholders, including Government officials, Community leaders, and experts in child development, to develop a comprehensive strategy for improving the Health and well-being of children.
In 2008, ECM launched the America’s Promise Initiative, which was initially funded by ECM itself and other private donors. The initiative was designed to be a collaborative effort, with partners working together to identify key issues and develop solutions. Over time, the initiative has grown in scope and ambition, with new Partnerships and collaborations being established every year.
