Ruhlmann’s most famous era was during the Art Deco period (1925-1937). He became renowned for his bold, Geometric patterns and ornate details, which adorned his Furniture pieces. His designs were characterized by their Elegance, sophistication, and attention to detail.

During the 1920s and 1930s, Ruhlmann collaborated with prominent designers, such as Jean-Michel Frank and René Lalique. These collaborations resulted in some of his most iconic designs, including the famous “Caviar” chairs. Personal Life

Ruhlmann was married to Marie Thérèse, a photographer and artist, from 1910 until their divorce in 1933. After his wife’s death, Ruhlmann retreated from public life, spending most of his time at his estate in Paris.
